Not sure if I’m still allowed to say this but, Happy New Year. 🙂 What weather 2013 left us with and 2014 has brought. Hope this finds you warm and dry!
The January Green Walk this Sunday 19th. For our first walk of the New Year, we’ll be exploring Winter scenery north of the city. Unfortunately I’ll be away so this month the fantastic Martin will be leading the stroll, taking in Kenywn and Idless, sticking to hard surfaces as much as possible as there is a lot of quality mud out there! Martin has got a number of other route options to ensure the walk is as accessible for the people who come along so do to cast your vote if you’re rather somewhere else on the day. Goodness knows what the heavens will have in store so make sure to wrap up, wellies highly recommended.
I’m not a great one for New Years resolutions, mainly as I soon find something else I want to give a go! If you’d like to try something new for 2014 why not come along to…
Malpas Community Choir. Thursdays at 7.45pm at Malpas estate community centre. Tried and tested, I can highly recommend, great fun, a lovely way to meet others locally ..and a chance to learn a new skill! We’ve got a new vocal coach joining us for tonights session so do pop along. Suggested donation of £2 per session.
Hope to see you for a sing song tonight, otherwise catch up on next months gander. Ooh and enjoy this Sundays stroll with Martin, he always puts on a great walk!
